THE MONDAY GROUP has been exclusively engaged to appoint a QLD Area Manager for a high-performing hospitality group undergoing significant growth and structural evolution. This is not a layer of management - it’s a critical leadership hire designed to increase performance, sharpen execution, and build capability across a growing portfolio. You will take ownership of a multi-site portfolio with a clear mandate: drive results, elevate leaders, and bring consistency across venues. The business is actively reshaping how it operates - creating smaller, more focused portfolios and giving leaders the bandwidth to genuinely impact performance, not just report on it. The Role: Full accountability for the performance of a multi-venue portfolio Drive revenue, labour, and cost outcomes across all sites Lead, coach, and hold VM's accountable to clear standards Identify gaps quickly and implement decisive performance improvements Build leadership capability and succession within your portfolio Maintain strong on-the-ground presence across venues Partner with senior leadership on growth, acquisitions, and structure About You: You’re a proven operator who understands how to run multiple venues through people - not just manage from a distance. This could suit someone already operating at Area Manager level, or a high-calibre General Manager ready to step up, with the commercial maturity and leadership presence to take on a broader remit.
